mugglestuff's Full Review: Dell Axim X50v Pocket PC
This is my second Axim as I bought an X-5 when they first came out over two years ago and it is still working. I own 5 PDAs:
Visor Platinum
Axim X5 advanced
Jornada 680e
Ipaq 1935
Axim X50v
The X50v is my work horse, I carry it to work and listen to MP3s on to help me get through the day and the sound quality is fantastic. The 624Mhz CPU does not skip a beat while I jot a note or check my calender with the music playing. If I turn the display off I can get over 4 hours of music before hitting the 20% warning point. Storing my music on the removable CF and SD cards lets me change what I listen too with a mouse click(well a couple). The display is the best of all that I own and it did not cost more than my X5 bought two years ago. I love trying out free software I find on the net even though the VGA screen is just now starting to get some support from software makers. I do not use the blue tooth or WiFi yet as this if my first wireless device and am looking to grow into it. The Axim has some bugs but whether these are due to the OS or the device I am not sure and at worst they are minor annoyances. I really enjoy my Axim and I hope you do to.
