I bought one of these in 2003. I have been using it moderately over the course of the last two years. Currently, the interface between the stylus and the screen is starting to go. I predict the PDA will give up in about six more monthes.
When I purchased this PDA, I was only interested in price. Dell had a special and I ordered it off the internet. It appears to cover all features at that time.
The machine has long battery life. You can work it hard for about five days or a week before it needs to be recharged.
The screen is big.
Dell, by the way, took 3 to 4 weeks to ship the product. I was starting to think the PDA was never coming. I am not happy with the length of time Dell takes to ship.
I was surprised by the size of this PDA. It is as big as an old Palm. Its hard to fit in an inner coat pocket.
This PDA performed adequately for one year for the first year and then it started to wear out.
If you intend to used this PDA for any multi-media applications such as MP3s or video, forget it. These PDAs are such not advanced enough. I have turned to IPOD for MP3s and other devices for portable video.
I do not recommend this PDA. I would advise all to go an thing about the HP models or a newer Palm.
