Okay, okay....so what if this computer is a so called 'entry level' system. You are,(as with most any computer), able to upgrade it to suit your needs, as I did.
The "DELL DIMENSION(tm)2400", ($699.00, as it appeared in my "DELL" catalog)comes with;-
256MB shared * DDR SDRAM (I increased this to 1GB for a nominal fee, to me, of $150.00)
80GB hard drive
48xCD ROM Drive & 48xCD Burner Drive (2nd bay)
Extreme graphics by "Intel"
Intergrated Audio
DELL A215 Speakers
"Intel Pentium"(R)4Processor at 2.66GHz
"Microsoft"(R) "Windows"(R)"XP Home Edition"(R)
17" E773 Monitor
"Intel Pentium"(R)4Processor at 2.66GHz
DELL ALL-in One Printer A920 (This I upgraded to a Dell A960 for only $70.00 more)
My above list is a bit out of order, but you can get the gist of what was both included and what I upgraded (added). I am a self-described computer dummy and somewhat proud of it but, my point here is that (in my opinion), this system is more than enough usable as a 'entry level' computer.
So, add to it or not, whatever you desire, either way this is a very good computer. Have a Great Day.....and "Happy Computing".
