Just wanted to mention I continue to use this laptop as my standard for testing Web site development and as my regular PC when I need to access Windows-only applications in an otherwise all Mac environment. The D600 was also my regular computer at my former company. Today it's still going strong.

i'm glad the reviewer is sooo enthusiastic about dell. i am not a dell employee, or booster, just a poor slob who bought one and did NOT get good tech support. but my issue here is that the reviewer did not mention at all that the keyboard on this model is so bad...something other people have commented on. as a writer it is crucial to me

James,

You did a excellent job describing is laptop and I really like your explanation of the Centrino chipset. I think many people have them in the their machine and really don't understand what they do.
