snodawg0722's Full Review: Dell Pocket DJ (5 GB) MP3 Player
OK, heres the thing, I got this as a gift for x-mas, it was great! Then about 2 weeks later, when everythign was right, the headphones were malfuntioning that i can only recive audio in oen ear. It turned out it was the headphone jack. The Copper conductors got loose from the jack moving around when tit was in my pocket. Now, heres the surprise, when i sent it abck to Dell for a new one, they called me abck that they CANNOT accept it because the screws were TAMPERED WITH. I never even touched the screws on the sides, let alone i found out its glued so that if it was opened before, the glue seal would be broken. Unfortunetly, Dell denied my requests to speak with an advanced customer representative nor even a supervisor. I was outraged and threw it into my drawer using it as a portable storage device. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! Unless you are completly aware that you will have a case that will hold it in a safe place that will not move the headphone jack, then DO NOT PURCHASE!
Also, there seems to be common manufactuer malfuntions such as crackign screens, and usb plugs that do not work.
This product is terrible and Dell should be ashamed. IM ashamed that i own one of their computers, whihc at least is holding itself together, but their line of DJ MP3 players.... Verdict says! Top 10 Hall of Shame, 0/10 service and quality.
