Good value for a large display w/ DVI

Pros: A quality display with DVI. Clear, crisp images and text. An overall good value

Cons: No height adjustment. Image quality decreases as resolution is decreased. (same for most LCDs)

I have owned this monitor for several months. It has performed better than expected. Paid $432 from Dell Online. It puts my old 17" NEC flat CRT to shame for image and text quality. The display is very easy on the eyes. Color saturation is uniform with no apparent hot or cold spots. The panel is also quite bright. I had to decrease it for my taste. The viewing angle is very wide with little or no distortions at the edges. No dead pixels have been found. No ghosting has been observed during motion videos in DVI mode. Analog mode displayed some minor ghosting during fast motion video and games, but was very slight. I now use DVI exclusively and have never had any problems. Text seems clearer with DVI, but that is very subjective on my part. The unit has a good sturdy base and construction. Much better than other units I have seen. Especially some of the newer 17" & 19" from Dell and others. The display can only be tilted up or down. No height adjustment, but this is not a problem for me. I highly recommend this display.
