Excellent Images

Pros: Bright, clean crisp images with great color.

Cons: Black levels good, but not as good as CRT.

Usage includes text and graphics.

Bright, clean, crisp, images using DVI input and recommended 1280x1024 resolution. Lower resolutions are available but are definitely not as sharp. Not sure if this is due to display or graphics card.

No distortion. Colors are vibrant. Flesh tones look natural. Hard to believe anything else could be sharper. No ghosting noticed.

Black levels are good, but not as good as a standard CRT type monitor. This is apparently a characteristic of flat panel monitors. A slight distraction when viewing dark pictures or video.

18" size seems much larger than 17" CRT was used to.

No maintenance problems after 15 months.

Would definitely buy again.
