Pros: Low cost, nice features, low cost, low cost, low cost. Did I say low cost?
Cons: So far none - sorry to those who have had problems with theirs!
The Bottom Line: Way better than I expected for the price. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

I found myself in desperate need of an additional computer last year after a fatal crash of my old machine, but the timing was not so good - I didn't have much spare cash. I bought this e-machine on special at Circuit City - it ended up being something like $349 after rebates, and came with a decent monitor and small printer. I was very leery of buying a $300 machine, particularly this brand, but I figured at this price it was basically free anyway and at worst I would end up with a monitor and some peripherals if I had to replace the thing.
Well, a year later and I am still very happy with my purchase. The machine just cranks along nicely, running anything I throw at it. I have two cameras, a scanner, a laser printer and a wireless card hooked up to it and it still is the best machine on my small home network. Plug & Play peripherals really are P&P, and any software I have loaded has run nicely.
On the negative side, actually very few comments. Awhile back, it started asking for the Microsoft Office CD everytime I try to launch any Office program. After almost a year of running problem-free, and two moves, I have to confess I have misplaced my recovery CD and it did not come with an Office CD. So I now have to deal with canceling out of the attempted install when I run these programs until I find the disk, but other than that it is still running pretty seamlessly.
