Pros: Excellent picture quality, Easy to use control panel - Lots of custom functions
Cons: heavy - Battery drains quickly (if you use IS lens)
The Bottom Line: Best entry level semi-professional Digital SLR camera

| vkrishkv's Full Review: Canon EOS-10D Digital Camera |
This is my first digital camera, after using Canon Elan 7E for about 2 years, I bought this DSLR and I'm completely satisfied with the performance. If you already own a 7E then you don't have to read the manual for operation instructions. Easy focusing point selection, fast focusing, custom functions are a big.
Works with all Canon EF lenses and I also read in many places that it works with many non-EOS lenses as well. Sigma lens seems to have some issue but otherwise it works with all lenses. I tested it with canon 420EX flash and its an very good combination and works great.
