| bersly's Full Review: Canon PowerShot S50 Digital Camera |
Have had the S50 for aprox. 3 weeks. Shot a variety of picts, here are my observations.
* easy to use camera
* Cannon has done a great job of getting most menu settings closer to the user. Where many of the settings are immediately available, my previous camera,a Nikon 995, took you through about 3 menus deep to change settings, nice job Cannon.
* have read other reviews complaining about the black finish, I like it
* For hard core camera enthusiasts, camera has capability of shooting picts in raw mode. I have tried it and probably will not use it much since the JPEG stuff looks so good.
So far very happy with camera, will be buying a bigger compact flash however since I shoot in highest mode and at 5 Mp it eats up more memory than my 2MP Nikon used to.
