Pros: Looks good. Metal build. Optical viewfinder (albeit limited).
Cons: Unique Lithium Ion battery (expensive to replace). Dull lacklustre images especially indoors.

| hartnell's Full Review: Konica Minolta DiMAGE Xt Digital Camera |
I had the opportunity of trying the Xt and DiMage X20 (half the price) before purchasing. The Xt has a lovely metal build, 3 x optical zoom which does not protrude, decent lcd (no protected covering), fast start up and plenty of useful buttons and manual settings. I really wanted this camera to shine ! I paid a very reasonable price for it and couldn't wait for it to deliver results..... and I was disappointed ! Images came out underexposed and a little dull. It hated average to low light conditions especially in artificial light, and the camera shake indicator kept introducing itself frequently. For a camera at this price and reputation it was not an inspiring performance. In the end I saved myself some cash and took the Xt back to the shop. The X20 stayed with me - half the price, but not half the performance !!
