Pros: Easy to use. Optical and digital zoom!! Included are long lasting batteries and charger.
Cons: Memory sticks are a little pricier. It's a little bulky.
The Bottom Line: For a beginner like me, this camera is great, it takes great pictures in most conditions, and the auto focus simplifies the lives of those camera-challenged like me.

I have been looking for a digital camera for several months, I have tried the Canon SD110, the Canon A300 the Konica/Minolta Dimage x31 and this camera, what decided this issue was that while vacationing in Miami I got a decent deal on it, and that after trying the Canon SD110 (which was my favorite) I wasn't totally convinced that I wanted to spend $200+ on a camera which I wouldn't use that often.
After the purchase I've found that this camera is lots of fun, it's definitely bulkier than the Canon but it also feels sturdier. So far I love the pictures, although I have noticed that sometimes the reds, shine out too much but that was my fault for forgetting to change the settings from SNOW to Auto after a day in the slopes. The BEACH, SNOW, TWILIGHT modes have worked great so far. And even someone like me, who literally just points and shoots can take pretty good pictures. All in all, am very happy with my purchase.
Included with the camera are two rechargeable AA batteries and a charger, which points to the other feature that if you run out of batteries, stop almost anywhere and buy AA batteries and you're good to go, instead of those little-harder to find camera batteries.
I paid $168.44 for the camera with a free HP PS 145 printer thrown in the bundle.
