Cool, thanks for the information! My late father had a Zeiss-Ikon camera, I think it is still in his old den at my moms house.

The Zeiss-Ikon Corporation went belly-up in 1971, but the Carl Zeiss Optical Werke at Oberkochen (in Germany) survived -- the Zeiss (designed) zooms featured on some Sony digital cameras are manufactured by Sony (in Japan) under license from Zeiss.
