Pros: Works great and sounds good.
My daughter Emmily got a Disney Princess Television from "Santa" for Christmas. The look on her face was a look I will never forget for years to come. She was so thrilled. I couldn't help but to be happy all day because of it. I don't think she has ever liked anything that much in her life. Although she is three and it's often the little things that please her. I don't think Santa could have been more dead on right with this gift of choice.
The Disney Princess Television came in a few pieces that the parent must put together. The purple ears for the top, purple legs for the bottom, and the speakers are already inside of the ears, so when you put the ears on you have your speakers hooked up already., the Disney Princess Television it's self is pink. The buttons on the tv are purple. And same thing goes for the remote it comes with. Pink and purple for the buttons. The buttons on the remote are large and easy for her to use. That is a great thing for Emmiy. It helps her to be able to do it on her own with no help. I can see that it makes her feel very good to be able to do that. She is some what proud of herself.
The legs and ears snapped right in and are sturdy. They have little levers on them that open once snapped in so they won't be snapped back out. Thats good because I am sure any kid would trey to pull them off. The tv is pretty heavy for a kid so there is no way they can tip or pull it over too easily. It is one of the most safe that I have come accross.
Santa says the Elfs paid $99.99 for the Disney Princess Television at K-Mart on Christmas sale. They were happy because it is regular priced at $119.99 there. Buy those little guys know how to shop. Santa was pleased!
Has VCR, DVD or even plug n play game hook ups.
The instructions are clear and well written out. It made it easy to figure out what needed to be done. All I had to do was unravel the cord from it's ties and simply plug it in. That was nice, because who wants to have to go crazy with things like this on Christmas day? It was so easy though.
I then turned on the television. Every channel you switch too has Cinderella up in the corner with the channel number. When you turn up the volume Princess Ariel the mermaid swims forward and when you turn it down she swims backwards. When you are not using the TV for a while you can have the screen saver on which is Ariel, Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White and Belle. Each of the Princess faces guide slowly around the screen one by one, and then start all over again from the first one.
The picture is as clear as our Sony big screen we have. Vibrant in color and detailed nice with no lines or static as well. The sound is great. No crackling or echos just perfect sound from the speakers, the volume is up to you.
The Disney Princess Television is easy for both the child and the parent to operate. This is my daughter's television and she is the one who touches it most of all. But she has no trouble doing anything like changing channels or the volume. She figured it out rather quickly. I like the fact that the whole out line of it looks like Cinderella's carriage. Thats great and good for the imagination too.
My daughter uses her Disney Princess Television on a daily basis and we could not be happier that Santa got her just what she wanted. Imagine that 100 toys too play with and like the TV the best of all. I am very pleased and do very highly recommend the Disney Princess Television for any little girl or to a fan of Disney items.
Oh, it also comes with a 90 day warranty in the package just behind the instruction packet.
