PhoenixFlight's Full Review: Drakkar Noir Deodorant Stick 2.5oz
In the winter of 1989, I met a very beautiful young lady through a mutual friend while visiting him at his home in Southern California. It was not much of a first meeting, simply hello’s at a small party, but it was a memorable too me. I managed to bump into TJ a few more times on that trip before having to return home but that was about it. I never forgot her smile or the funny look she would give me as we talked.
By the spring of 1991 I had relocated to the South Bay area of Los Angeles where I had met Tamie Jo, but I had not been fortunate enough to run into her. I began working as a bouncer at the hottest club in town, The Red Onion (RIP) when on the third day of work, I came in to find TJ and a friend inside the bar. After a little small talk I had to get to work and said my goodbyes. I started my turn away from her and then caught myself. Here I had the girl of my dreams, the girl I had been thinking of constantly for two years right in front of me and I was going to walk away with just a silly goodbye. Duh Hello! I turned back to her placing my hand around to the small of her back tilting her back and gave her my best “sweep you off your feet” kiss.

That kiss did exactly what I hoped it would and TJ and I were soon a very happy couple. For Christmas in 1991, TJ gave me a bottle of Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche as a present. It was the first bottle of cologne ever given to me by a woman other than my mom whose favorite men’s cologne is Polo.
From the very first emanation of Drakkar’s nectar sweet, aromatic fragrance, I could see why this was her favorite. Drakkar has a very alluring scent, one that captures a person’s attention when you walk by. This was to be my scent she purred seductively in my ear as she handed me the little black bottle of Drakkar.
Sadly my relationship with Tamie ended shortly after that Christmas and I packed my 1.7 FL.OZ. bottle of Drakkar away. Over time TJ and I kept in touch and on occasion I had the chance to wear her scent while I was with her but then I would pack it back up till the next time I was to be with her. Drakkar never failed to attract the reaction that I hoped for when I saw Tamie and was always good for one incredibly long squeeze from my past love.
In the fall of 2000 circumstances brought Tamie and I back together and once again her scent has been re-commissioned for service as we begin a new stage in our relationship. I never threw the bottle she gave me out. Even after all these years Drakkar still gets the same reaction from Tamie Jo as it did the first time I put it on for her.
For Christmas 2003, I hope that once again Tamie will be handing me a bottle of Drakkar Noir on Christmas morning while softly purring in my ear.
I highly recommend Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche for the man in your life if you are a woman and the woman in your life if you’re a man. She’ll give you longer squeezes, trust me.
