great starter computer

We got our e-machine last year as a house warming gift. It was my first computer, and first experience using the internet. The first one had a bad disk drive, and my sister returned it to Cosco and got another. It is a bit noisy, but works well. I have loaded tons of Geneology information, and also put on Microsoft 97 and several games and tutorial programs on it. I have not had any problems with it at all. We are getting ready to get another computer, one that is faster and has much more than just the basics to offer. But I think we will keep this one for the kids to use. I do not know exactly how much it cost(not much), but it was well worth it in my opinion. It has been a great starter computer.
