Good Machine for the Money

Pros: Cheap, easy to use, easy to setup and runs pretty great.
Cons: No children should run this without complete adult supervision (that means no leaving for a second!!)

I bought the Emachines 400i computer for a couple of good reasons. One was the price, I mean who could beat it. Another reason was the front game ports (a hit with my husband). Okay, so maybe three reasons. The third, and main reason, was to upgrade to something faster with newer software than our four year old Acer Across. I also wanted to start an at home business typing resumes and the such.
If you're looking for something low cost, this is it. Dependable, I can't really say, but I know it doesn't stand up to the beating of children. This is definitely a PC that needs Tender Loving Care. But I have been able to run all my programs without a hitch except for Aol. Aol has some problems with it's illegal operation error that comes up and blows everything away.
You really do get what you pay for, but all in all I think it's a good machine. AND I have to say that BOTH of my computers survived the supposed Y2K crash!!!
