They are small cute and durable. I dropped the machine taking it out of the box (my fault) it took one bounce off my toe (now black as night.) Plugged it in and it's working great. My toe however is still recovering.
I have had this machine on 24/7 for 8 months and had no problems. I use it as a Linux firewall/gateway to the Internet for my DSL connection.
I would have no problem buying another eMachine. Because they are cheap you would think they'd cut corners and sacrifice quality. On the contrary! You can see the care and attention that go into making these machines simple to use
The one bad thing to point out is if you are looking for a system you can fill up with expansion cards and upgrade this or that look elsewhere. Everything you need is here and there is not much room inside to add more. I had to shoehorn another hard drive into the chassis.
Note, I don't recommend giving this or any machine the toe test that I did. It's not worth the pain.
