I was in the market looking for a mouse for my mother who has a hard time with double clicking properly when I ran across this mouse at my local best buy store. The mouse is rather large and my hand rests comfortably on it. Unlike other four button mice I have seen the fourth button is placed out of the way yet it is easy to use when you want it. The mouse itself has a USB connection, also included is a PS/2 adapter, manual, and driver CD. The mouse can simply be plugged in and it will function as a two-button mouse. If you want the scroll wheel and the fourth button to function you'll have to install the included drivers. I needed that fourth button to emulate a double click so I installed the software, the software installed without a hitch and I'm quite pleased with the mouse. Although it's not obvious from the photos or on the packaging the mouse wheel glows bright blue, the wheel is a nice rubbery wheel, not hard plastic like you might expect. I only experienced two difficulties with the mouse, The first was when I attempted to plug the mouse into my non-powered USB port on the back of my keyboard... the mouse would go up and down but it would only 'shake' from left to right. Plugging it into a powered port solved this problem, and as it is my first optical mouse it's possible all optical mice require a powered port. I tried with the PS/2 adapter and it worked as well. The second 'problem' I had was trying to find drivers for it. The mouse is made for IBM by Micro Innovations and that is where you need to go to find the drivers, this fact is not mentioned in the manual anywhere and I stumbled across there website after doing a Google search for drivers.
