| markjseventy's Full Review: Emerson HD8100R Personal CD Player |
I took a chance on this cd player because it said "ultimate skip protection." This is not the case..If you jog with it it will skip. Its absolutely unacceptable if you want to exercise with it. even if you put it in the holder in the treadmill or stepper while exercising, it skips like crazy.
the bass boost is terrible as well. it makes your music sound all gargled..
I returned item and the stores policy was to give me an identicle item(fye music)..the 2nd item was just as bad as the first..
Emerson is very deceiving in putting "ultimate skip protection" on the player.
I am very dissatisfied and will be going back to store to see if i can exchange it for a sony with g-protection..
if I cant exchange it, I will definetely go with a sony s2 sport(theres some good deals online)
