Excellent, while it works

Pros: Works great and not much pain. Stops spinning if it grabs skin.

Cons: It died on me after one year.

The Bottom Line: Yes, but be aware it might die within a year.

I bought this about a year ago after reading a lot of these reviews. I've used it about once a month since then and it worked great. The one time it caught my skin behind my knee it stopped right away so it didn't really hurt.

It leaves little red bumps after you use it, so be sure to use it a day or so before you are going out to the beach. I guess that would be the same for any epilator though. It clears up pretty quickly.

I found that taking a bath before using it reduced the pain a lot. After you use it a couple of the times there really isn't any pain any more. Just don't wait too long between uses or it will hurt a bit when you use it again. I use it during the winter for the reason. When you keep it up the hairs seem to grow back really weak. I can usually snag a hair between my nails and it just slides out.

On the bad side...

Today one of the heads stopped spinning. It looks like the little metal bar that holds the heads in place broke at the end and now it doesn't touch the gear. For a $150 (canadian plus shipping) I was really expecting it to last longer than this. I have sent an email to Emjoi to see if I can buy just another head so I will update the link when I hear back from them.

In the mean time, I would still recommend it with that one caveat.
