| justindz's Full Review: Epiphone Pr-100 Acoustic Guitar |
I am an extremely amateur guitar player, I'll admit. I wanted an acoustic guitar to play around with that was good quality, but low priced. A friend of mine recommended the epiphone guitars for specifically that reason. I did a little product comparison, and chose the PR-100.
From my own research, the PR-100 seemed like a great buy for my particular needs. The wood type and overall construction matched that of several guitars costing twice as much. In the end, I decided on the PR-100.
And, I was not disappointed. I have several guitar playing friends and roommates who are even more impressed by the PR-100 than I am. They were shocked to learn that it was so inexpensive. Several of them expressed dismay that they did not know about it before they bought their first guitar.
Keeping in mind that I am not the most demanding user, I would highly recommend the PR-100 to anyone interested in playing guitar either as a beginner or someone who just enjoys strumming away and making some sound. The make is impressive for a budget guitar, incorporating many features of mid-range models such as quality woods, quality machine heads, and a pleasant sound.
