I have hooked this up and had running for 367 hours now,we use it as a full time television also as the price of the bulbs does not bother me(cheap).
Dish network comes through great,as of course the progressive scan through the dvd player,The number 1 reason for this purchase was the ability to hook up to my pc as I come across many movies on line...
Instead of having to burn 2 or three seperate discs I simply hit play now and watch,for this reason alone it's the best purchase I've made in 3 years and has made my downloading experience worthwhile not to mention the time saved for other things..
Personally I'm surprised how well it works in a well lit room,of course we draw the shades for viewing but there are times for tv when it is just fine for us.
I could have got cheaper on e-bay but due to some other reviews about bad pixels I purchased through Dell with an extra warranty so I have no worries for next 2 years if it goes bad by then it was worth it and I'll buy another!!
