Greatly disappointed in this vacuum cleaner

Pros: This machine has excellent suction and I like the telescoping duster that comes with it.

Cons: The on-board hose and attachments are difficult to use.

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this machine if you plan to use the on-board and attachments on a regular basis. The hose is too short, crevice tool too long.

Purchased this machine based on an excellent recommendation; it would have been better if I had been able to try it our BEFORE investing in the machine. Now that I've used it and it's naturally dusty, etc. how can I possibly return it to the seller? We were looking for a machine that would vacuum up pet hair, especially from furniture. On floors, this machine works great, except the 15" cleaning head won't fit into tight spaces which means I need to use the on-board hose and attachments AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS MACHINE.
Hose attachment is way TOO SHORT and crevice tool attachment is way TOO LONG. The vacuum cleaner itself must be very close to the area you are trying to clean; in the case of steps, you must cart it up each step at a time. The hose must be BENT TIGHTLY at the connection to the crevice tool in order to reach tight areas. I predict that the hose will eventually break at this point requiring replacement or duct tape it hold it together. It's also difficult to vacuum a recliner chair because you can barely reach the top of the back of the chair without physically lifting up the vacuum cleaner so the hose will reach. You really work up a sweat using the attachments on this machine.
