With 3 cats in house, my Eureka Cordless Quick-up is a cleaning tool I just couldn’t live without. Especially now that I’m unable to bend much but still like to have clean floors without cat fur, people hair, dust and other assorted items that seem to float into the house on a daily basis...this most prolific cordless, lightweight and handy vacuum certainly makes me feel better knowing it’s doing the job in a quick and easy way.


I had another very similar model in the past but I haven't been able to find that particular one in any of the stores I’ve gone to these last few months but instead, I found this one at Target which seems to be exactly the same except for the color, yet cost about $10.00 less.


The Eureka Quick-Up is so versatile I just can’t sing the praises high enough to say how invaluable it is to me…


I have a split level house, downstairs, there are ceramic tiled floors in the living room, family room, dining room and kitchen…I have a large area run in the living room as well and my bedrooms are carpeted…the four steps that lead up to the bedrooms are tiled also, so the fact that I can change the setting easily, just by pushing a little button up or down on the body of the machine, from carpets to floors is quite an advantage …The biggest plus is that it is cordless, so no running around the house looking for an outlet or while cleaning having the cord suddenly pull out of the socket when the spot you are cleaning is out of reach.


Just flip the switch and there you go…in just minutes the floors are clean. But wait, that’s not all. This handy dandy cleaning tool converts to a hand vacuum to use on your bedding, any and all furniture or areas not reachable with a regular vacuum. it gets rid of lint, cat fur and human hair...Just a small button needs to be flicked and the handle removes easily…


And so easy to assemble, just one, two, three… all you have to do is stick the handle into the allotted hole on the body of the cleaner…put in the small screw that comes with it and tighten with a screwdriver. Voila!


You do have to charge the battery in the recharger, which comes with it, for about 16 hours…You have the option of mounting that charger on a wall or just plug it in where ever is handy for you…I keep it on an old table in my garage with the charger plugged into the wall just above it…after the initial charge it doesn’t take that long before you can use it again.


The dirt collects in a small cup that is easily removed from the front compartment…it comes with a permanent filter that needs to be emptied after one or two uses…depending on how much dirt was collected during your cleaning ritual..


As I said it’s perfect for any and all dirt associated with your pets…I keep 2 cat litter boxes and even though I put newspaper under them a small amount does get onto the floor…nearby are the feeding bowls and one of my cats loves to pull his food out, put it on the floor then proceeds to eat…of course there are crumbs left over…My Quick-up gets every little bit of that litter or crumbs that would ordinarily be harder to get up with an ordinary cleaning tool.


I use it all over the house, in the bathrooms, the kitchen and living room…when I want to use it on my area rug, I just put the switch on the carpet mode and that takes care of that…wending my way upstairs the head is narrow enough to clean each step and even goes into the corners…I use it for light vacuuming in the bedrooms but I wouldn’t recommend it for heavier carpet cleaning. It does a good job on any and all surface dirt but not for deep cleaning. Though the manufacturer states on the box that with it’s motorized brush roll you could use it on any carpeting….


I recommend this Eureka, Cordless Quick-up as highly as I can..so much so, that I’ve bought one for each of my daughters and they both agree..They both have little boys so crumbs and food on the floor after a meal are a way of life in their homes…this cleaner takes care of those problems too..


So if you need a quick cleaning tool with the convenience of being cordless, useful on all types of flooring, lightweight and easy to use, then this is the vacuum for you!
