Pros: Very elegant looking mouse. Includes two NiMH rechargable AAA batteries.
Cons: No "Off" switch. Limited life between battery charges. Limited distance between mouse and receiver.
The Bottom Line: Not a bad mouse, but there are many mice available these days with more features and lower price, unless you pick one up at a bargain basement price (under $20).

I obtained this model mouse accidentally in about Dec 2003, when I tried to buy a lesser mouse from OfficeMax, and they collected my money even though they didn't have the mouse in stock. To appease me, they gave me this more expensive model.
My general experience with this mouse has been positive. The operation is smooth, and the tracking accuracy is as good as any mouse I've used in this price range, even on a variety of surface colors. The wheel has very gentle detents, and is relatively easy to spin, but it is made of smooth rubber, so is a little hard to operate if your fingers are not completely clean and dry.
I get almost two weeks out of a fully-charged set of batteries, including using the mouse in a software development environment for up to 10 hours per day, 5 days a week. I try to remember to take the batteries out of it on the weekends, but it's easy to forget in the rush to get out of the office on Friday.
Have had remarkably few problems with the mouse. Occasionally it seems to go into some sort of hibernate state, and I have to hit the buttons to wake it up, but it doesn't reduce the usability by much.
