| sf_moses's Full Review: Leica C3 35mm Film Camera |
I bought this camera intended to be my last 35mm point and shoot camera of my life, and wanted to make it count as a good one - so I went for the Leica. In many ways it is a great machine - The body is clean and simple, making it not stand out as an expensive camera, however it is a bit big and clunky in comparison to say, a stylus zoom. Certainly the best features that work extremely well are the IR autofocus, and the flash. The flash works best for indoor stuff, the flash angle is automatic based on the distance of the focus. It works great for that, my nightclub shots are great. The zoom range is pretty good too. The only thing that really bugs me is somewhat minor. This camera seems to chew batteries. I have had it for four months, and have taken about 10 rolls a month. I am now on my third battery. Oh well, small cost to pay for a great lens, and ease of use.
