pabloconrad's Full Review: Nikon F5 35mm Film Camera
I have used the F5 for three months in some very dangerous and hectic conditions. I work for a daily newspaper in the South Central Kentucky region, the Bowling Green Daily News, and have covered structure fires, police shootouts, accidents, sports, features and general assignments.
I have drenched the camera, dropped it down stairs, and even had hot ashes drop on it and it still performs supremely. The auto-focus is quick and accurate and when used with the SB-26 flash unit, exposures are right on in the most difficult lighting situations.
I highly recommend this camera to any serious photographer who works in the hectic world of press photography.
