Pros: Great camera! Excellent price to value ratio!
Cons: Only 2 minor issues: no zoom and it really doesn't support panoramic photos.
The Bottom Line: If you need a Point & Shoot camera without zoom, then you can stop looking. You've found it. Best value to price ratio of any camera I've ever owned.

| oscartibor's Full Review: Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 170 QD 35mm Film Camera |
I've owned many a camera over the years, some costing over $400, but none have been as versatile or a better value for the money.
3 years ago I had to make a number of business and vacation trips to Las Vegas, France, Spain, Orlando, and Atlanta all in a very short period of time. I asked my photographer friends for a suggestion for a cheap, good, and idiot proof point & shoot camera. I didn't want to loose or have my good SLRs stolen. They all suggested the Olympus Stylus Epic. Some of the best advice I've ever had!
The case design and construction are brilliant. Easy to grip regardless of hand size, and the controls are just the right size to avoid wasting film with an unplanned exposure. The carry cord is secured quite well to the case, and I believe there is zero chance of the cord becoming unnattached and the camera getting an unplanned "vertical stress test."
The quality of pictures even with low quality 200 film is amazing. I usually use 400 or 800 Polaroid or Fuji film, and I have only rarely had a shot not come out right. B&W film also works well.
The night and "red-eye" features are particularly effective. No more photoshop or really working hard to get a shot.
The only 2 problems with the camera: it doesn't have a zoom and it really doesn't support panoramic photos.
But for a price of $100 or less, those 2 issues are really just wanting platinum for the price of lead.
