Pros:dictionary size, interface, expandable with Bookman cards, handy tables and phrases
Cons:hamza with alif problem, missing short vowels at times, lack of arabic vocalisation
Inside this little translator is all the contents of the Al-Mawrid dictionary which is one of the most highly respected Arabic/English dictionaries. This means a large and relevant word count and it rarely failed to have a translation for the words I throw at it. This dictionary doesn't look fantastic but the clean interface and the content is what marks this dictionary stand apart.
My gripes: I was unable to work out how to write an alif with a hamza?? The dictionary is not mosquito repellent proof which is the reason mine is now dead. Short vowels are not marked for all words. No Arabic words or Arabic phrases are pronouceable outloud.
