I am also a VICTIM of the Frigidaire front loading washing machine. Mine is about 4 years old and is now banging very loudly during the spin cycle. I called a repair person and was told this is very common for this machine. He has not come out to look at the machine yet, but said it sounded like a support bracket is broken. If this is the case,the cost of the repair would not be worth it. So I decided to do some checking around on line before I have him come out. I am astonished at what I have read about these machines. There has to be something we can do. I am sick at the thought that they can get away with this. The model number on my machine is GSTF1670ASO. I would love to make a list of all the people who have these machines and are having problems and contact the media to see if they would be willing to look into this. I don't want to sit back and just be taken advantage of by this company. This type of behavior will never stop if we don't do something. Anyone interested in trying to take action?
