I gave my wife an E-550 for Christmas, 2005 and we're both still learning to use it. We're quite happy with the results so far, but realize it's more capable than we are. This review, obviously by an avid, knowledgeable photographer taught me some things about the camera I hadn't gleaned from the manual. Thanks!
