| bthurik's Full Review: General Electric GSD4060JSS 24 in. Built-in Dishwa... |
Why I went with the GE 24 in GSd4060JSS,is easy to answer. I had a previous dishwasher manufactured by GE for 26 years until I finally had to replace it.So shopping around I looked at quite a few brands and settled on the GE mainly from past experience. There are many features on this dishwasher I did not have on the previous one, such as the easy to use and easy to clean controls, the power scrub feature works great with two wash arms- old model had one,Hotstart feature for great cleaning and it is definitely a heck of alot more quiet than my old model. It has 6 cycles probably more than I need
I have used the washer quite a few times now and the dishes come very clean if even taking out dried egg stains and shinny and this only using dishwasher soap and no other materials.
Having stainless steel on the outside of the washer really improves the appearance of the kitchen and matches perfectly with a gas stove I have of another brand.
Would I recommend this washer to anyone-you bet and if this works as good as the old one did and lasts half as long I am thrilled that I made a good decision.
