Cons: No temperature probe.
The Bottom Line: Easy enough to use. I still can't say it's any better than any others I've used.

I received this as a gift a little over 3 years ago. It is a GE countertop microwave model #JE1540, and it has a 900 watt power output.
Some of the features of the microwave are:
A removable turntable which is made of glass. It just lifts out of the oven for easy cleaning. The turntable starts rotating as soon as the oven is turned on and stops as soon as it turns off or when the door is opened. I like this because it helps the food to be cooked more evenly.
Variable power levels from 1-10 to do everything from keeping foods warm to defrosting to cooking. This helps you choose the level you need for the type food you are cooking.
It also has a Child lock-out option. This prevents the microwave from being started or used by children if activated.
Also a kitchen timer and clock is also included. This enables you to view the time or you can set the timer to go off at any given time. Also, this display is where you see how much time is left in any given cooking cycle.

I have found it important to stop and stir the food several times during the cooking cycle to distribute the heat throughout the food. There is nothing worse than thinking something is finished because it is really hot to touch but when you cut it open, it is cold inside. The microwave is fairly easy to clean. All that is needed is some hot water and a rag. The doors and inside can be wiped clean and the turntable removed to be washed.
I can't say that this microwave is any different than any of the others I've used in the past. Good luck finding just the right one to suit you.
