We replaced our first GE wall oven with this brand new GE wall one day before Thanksgiving because our first one quit lighting the burners. With less than 24 hours usage, on Thanksgiving morning of all days, we discovered that we, once again, own a brand new, very expensive, wall clock that won't light the burners.

Like the movie Groundhogs Day the same thing keeps happening to us over and over with GE ovens. Our first GE oven went through three main circuit boards before starting to work correctly. Fortunately we had a GE extended warranty.
The problem this time turned out to be a defective gas valve which had to be ordered causing a three week repair delay. The repair man shattered the oven door glass while tightening a loose oven door handle. Then four or so weeks later the bake burner ignitor failed. This oven is a piece of (blank).
