Pros: First MP3/CD player & cheap
Cons: Poor construction, poor sound, poor battery life & not upgradable.
The Bottom Line: There are better players available. This one just isn't worth it anymore.

The unit is constructed poorly with cheap plastic. It is bulky and clumsy feeling. The battery life is nothing less than poor. You would be lucky to get an hour out of it. The sound quality is decent, but distorts the bass and treble. The equalizer just makes the sound worse. The player usually cannot find all the songs on the CD, or plays some of them incorrectly. Frequent skips and crashes. No firmware upgrades to correct problems. Sometimes advertised to read CD-RW, but this is false. It was not designed to, but will sometimes read CD-RW poorly with some tweaking. Bottomline: This was the first MP3/CD player available for mass market. It was simply OK back then, but is horrible by todays standards.
