| deespc's Full Review: Gigabyte GA-8KNXP Motherboard |
For a few years now I ran A SOYO P4X400 Dragon ultra .
Then came into gigabyte .
This board has it all, It well support 12 hard drivers, dual bios, DSP2 power.
What more can you want .
Intel chips, sata after sata, raid, 875P, intel networking, realtec sound.
What else can I say, this board overclocks the overclockers.
I am running this board with a P4 3.0 800fsb ( over clocked to a 3.6mhz, Running for 3 weeks now, none stop )
Memory is 256mb X 4 ddr400 pc3200.
and not even a hick up, running at 3.6mhz. and not even break a sweat.
I have even hit 4.0 mhz, ran it during call of duty.
for three hours and not one lock up.
Cpu temp, hit a peak of 101c, not bad for a stock CPU, It was cooled by a thermaltake volcano 7 cooler. runniing at 4000 rpms ( med range on the switch ) .
The core volt was at stock level, memory range was at a 2 volt. when it was at 4.0mhz.
I have backed it down in oreder to, keep the system nice and cool.
Running at 4.0 mhz, the system was at 68c.
And at 3.6mhz the system is a low 33c/91f.
Just the right temp, for running call of duty, and medal of honor.
I have not bench the system as of yet.
for I do not know what is the best bench software to use .
So if it is marks you were looking for, then No need to look here.
