I'm not sure exactly when I first tried using the Gillette Power Caps series of antiperspirants, however, I assume it came during my gel phase of life. I had a stage that I just had to have nothing but gels. I am currently not in the gel stage, but I am really thinking of going back, as standard roll ons just aren't as comfortable as the standard gel products.

My first experience with gel products would have to have been the Gillette series, with Power Caps. I remember finding myself in a store, smelling loads of different deodorants, trying to find the ones that I liked the most. I have never really had a brand that I liked more than all the others. I just sort of bounced around to whatever hit me at the moment as the best deodorant. When I smelled Frost, I immediately began smelling the others and found them all to be quite appealing.

Ingredients
Dipropylene glycol, tripropylene glycol, water, propylene glycol, sodium stearate, fragrance, peg-90 diisostearate, sodium chloride, stearyl alcohol, ext d&C Violet #2, D&C green #6, aluminum zirconium

Fragrance
Frost happens to be my favorite in the line of Gillette gel products with power caps. It has a great smell that is somewhat musky, but really not too bad. It is a somewhat fresh scent, that lasts quite a long time.

I was very impressed with the overall length of time that the fragrance lasted. I sometimes wouldn't have to add any extra deodorant after working out or playing hard sports. I found that my initial morning dose was more than enough to keep me smelling fresh all day long. I would just throw on a little body spray on my body and that would be more than enough.

Ease of Use
Unlike many of the roll on deodorants that I have used throughout the years, I have found that the gel products go on extremely smooth. One of the major problems that I have found with the majority of roll on products is that they come out too fast, they splurge all over the place while sitting around, or they are too soupy.

The great thing about the Gillette gels is that they seem to be the perfect consistency for overall performance. They go on really well, don't spill out while not in use, and the container is very easily controlled with a small knob on the bottom. I don't think they could make a more perfect gel.

The gel goes on great, and feels great. I have found that many of the roll on deodorants stick in your underarm hair unless you shave it all off. I haven't had any problems, on those days when I have longer hair. I haven't noticed any clumping at all, and overall the product is pretty close to perfect.

Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant
As an anti-perspirant and deodorant, the product is great. The strong smell, lasts me throughout the day, and I have never had an issue with odor, no matter how hard I workout that day. I can even go without using any touch ups after a few hard hours of basketball and a tough workout. While I usually take a shower, those times when you can't right away, this product doesn't let you down.

As an anti-perspirant, well, it works about as good as one can. I haven't found another, that keeps the odor causing sweat away as well as this product does. Great product if you wear a lot of dress clothing and have issues with sweat showing through your clothing while giving a presentation, which is definitely embarassing. I haven't had any issues, where I have sweat through clothing since using this product, regardless of how stressed or hot the situation is.

Where to buy
I can't think of a store that doesn't sell this product. I have found it at drug stores, convenience stores, shopping centers, and pretty much any store. It is a fairly universally used product for the most part. Gillette is a huge company that has great distribution, so if you can find a place that doesn't have it, I'd be amazed.

Cost
The product is fairly low and cost and lasts a very long time at time. I think that I pay around $3-$4 on average whenever I buy it, but it lasts me throughout a whole month generally. So it's definitely a cost effective gel. Most gels I have found only last about a few weeks, as you require more to be effective. You can use very little of this product at a time, depending upon what you're doing, and it will still work quite well. So, you can really stretch it out to a couple of months if you really want to, I suppose.

Final Thoughts
Overall, this is an excellent product, that lasts a long time, and keeps you fresh smelling and feeling all day. I have had no issues with clumping or flaking with this product either, making it a great versatile product that you can use at any time.

The Frost smell is extremely inviting and fresh smelling. It has a little bit of a musk smell to it, but not all that much, that the Old Spice products have. I find that it's a much more upbeat and newer age product than other items that are out on the market.
