Pros: Non-stick pan, Can make 1, 1 1/2, 2 pound loafs, 60 minute bake time *fast*.
Cons: Expensive compared to other bread makers, but it's worth the money spent.
The Hamilton Beach 29880 bread maker is the best out of all of them. I have had other bread machines before this one. They were all garbage compared to this one! I will rate the other one later *if it is listed*. It is truly the easiest bread machine out there. You will be so happy with this machine, if you decide to purchase it! It makes very yummy bread!
I have had the Hamilton Beach bread maker for about 4 months now. I bought it at my local Sears store for about $120. This machine was one of the best investments. It's worth every single penny! I now refuse to buy any other brand but Hamilton Beach. Hamilton Beach truly makes the best cooking products!
This bread maker is so quick. I can have a fresh loaf of bread in 60 minutes! Also if I don't need the bread until the next day, I can set the timer up to 12 hours later. So I don't have to be home to play around with it! It also turns off automatically when the bread is done. I find that great because no one like burnt bread! Another thing, between both time options the bread still turns out the same. There is no difference in taste what so ever!
The Hamilton Beach bread maker can also make the largest loafs of bread. The bread maker can make a 1, 1 1/2, or 2 pound loaf of bread! The bread pan inside is also a vertical shape. That helps a lot when it comes to getting the bread out. I mostly make the largest loafs I can. A loaf of bread in my house goes in less then 2 days! No matter what size loaf you make, the bread is always fully cooked. The bread isn't doughy in the middle. Some bread machines don't actually cook all the way through. That's a big plus in my books! Another nice thing is you can see the bread cooking. The glass on the top of the machine allows you to see the process. My son tyler will sit and watch it for the full 60 minutes, and yell when it is done! hehehe...
The great thing about the Hamilton Beach bread maker is the non-stick pan. Out of all the different types of bread I have made, none of them have stuck to the pan. They slide out with no problems! That has always been a problem for me with other bread makers. The non-stick pan is also great when you need to clean it. There is nothing stuck to it, so there's not much to clean! That makes me really happy!! =)
This is so amazing for a bread machine. It actually has bread selection buttons for different types of bread. The controls let you choose the type of bread you are making, and the color of the crust you want! That is a great feature. I don't know any other machine that has that feature. I think it is truly the best bread machine out there!
