I have a great product for you to check out. I am referring to a Hamilton Beach Electric Mixer. I got it as a gift for Christmas and I love it! It is a fantastic purchase for you or as a gift for someone special. It is a free standing mixer with a locking bowl, three attachments, and a pouring shield. It also has a quick-release tilt up head.

I had done some pricing on these mixers and just simply could not justify the over $200.00 it was going to cost for a Kitchen-Aid. As I mentioned, I got mine as a gift, however the price is unbeatable for the quality. They are available on Amazon.com for only $159.99. Although many moms are different, there is one thing that most of us have in common: a great product at a great value is a great idea!

Speaking of moms being different, kitchens are unique also. This great mixer comes in a variety of colors, sure to match your kitchen theme. It is available in Licorice Black, Moroccan Red, Pineapple Yellow, Sea Breeze, and Sterling Sugar White. The colors are fantastic and the creative names are sure to get your creative cooking mind on the way to a great recipe.

My favorite time to be creative in the kitchen is with my kids. I have two little girls that get a kick out of hanging out in the kitchen with mom. This mixer is easy to set up, easy for a 6 and 8 year old to use, and a snap to clean up. The bowl and attachments are completely dishwasher safe. The stand takes about 20 seconds to wipe down and you are done.

It comes with three mixing attachments. The dough hook is awesome, the regular mixing attachment is great, and the third is a whisk attachment, perfect for lightweight projects. Changing the attachments takes about five seconds for my 6 year old, so don't worry about that. The quick-release tilt up head makes adding ingredients a cinch! The top is easy enough to lift that my girls can maneuver it, yet heavy enough that there is no movement during mixing.

Projects my children and I have used it on include cookies, bread dough, mashed potatoes (on a weekly basis), homemade edible play dough, and countless kid projects. Nothing brings the family together in the kitchen like homemade bread. We make a batch of dough and the girls go to town creating little people and designs to bake up and enjoy! Memory making in your kitchen is so much more fun when their little noses are covered in flour!

I recommend this product to anyone looking for a great mixer. It looks fantastic on your counter, yet is not so heavy you can’t get it in and out of the cupboard. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and kid friendly.
