Ok, that was my first epinion, and I hope you'll forgive me for the rookie review! Anyway, the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth is a powerful food processor. It has 450 watts of power, and I think that's adequate for in home use. It has a huge 14 cup plastic bowl. I've shredded, ground meat, sliced carrots, potatoes and onions and chopped whole almonds without any hesitation in the unit. It has a pulse speed, and 4 constant speeds that go higher. Everything stores in the bowl, so the parts aren't separated and lost in drawers. It has a huge adjustable chute for food, and you can put whole vegetables in the chute for whole slices. I guess that's why they call it the bigmouth. It has a plastic cup that pushes the food down, and also has measurements on the cup. It has suction cups on the bottom, so it stays put while you're using the unit. It has just one dial for the power which makes for less confusion as to what buttons to push. The unit stands about 17 inches high to the top of the cute, to about 12 inches wide. If you want to shred, you use the stainless steel disk included, and if you want to slice, you just turn it upside down, so there's only one disk you have to worry about. There's a chopping blade that is super sharp.It has a triple safety feature, that doesn't let the unit operate unless the bowl is locked, the top is locked, and the chute is closed and locked. I can't find my warranty information, but I'm pretty sure it gives a year limited warranty. Cleanup is easy. It's dishwasher safe, but I do my dishes by hand, and have had no problems washing everything. I use my bigmouth a lot for fresh vegetables, and so far, this unit has not let me down. I've owned it for 3 months, use it just about every other day, and have not had any problems with it. I think it's an attractive unit, that doesn't take up a lot of counter space. I paid only $59 for this processor, and compared to other units I've bought that were more expensive, I think it's a good product for the price.
