I received this grill as a gift... (Reply to this comment)

from my parents. I use it mostly for grilled cheese for the kids, and an occassional full meal.

Your review was very detailed and informative. Excellent job!

...and a genetically-induced (I'm a guy) lazy person, this sounds great. It seems much more practical, easier to use/clean, and less expensive than the Ronco oven I've been eyeing. Thanks for a great review!

Excellent review. Very thorough and complete. I'm the outdoor grill type, even in the dead of winter. I do have an enclosed deck, so, I'm cold for only a short period of time. You did sell me on this product.

And you even included a storage place for it! I've been considering a Foreman grill, now I know what I'll be buying. :)

Thanks Helen! The larger Foreman grills are very nice, but the price difference is considerable. I'll be looking forward to an upcoming review from you!

Thanks Jannie!

I hope you enjoy your grill. I'm having a lot of fun with mine . . . made pizza for my son and his friend last night and will do fajitas for Sunday afternoon lunch later today.

I'd get the bread machine first! I've had my Panasonic for several years (and wrote another review on it :-) and still use it almost every day. My son loves to make toast as a snack and one loaf lasts me one or two days. It's also great for making pizza dough . . . great for sleepovers and I've got some almost ready for the teen boys who have invaded my living room.

This sounds like the grill I am looking for. The George Foreman grill is nice but not near large enough for what I need it for. Nice review. I really enjoyed reading about the grill. I am going to check the grill out.

Never would have... (Reply to this comment)

Never in a million years would I have thought of buying a product like this--too much hassle, too little cooking space, too much hype (Foreman grill)--after reading your excellent review, I see there IS a decent indoor grill, and I think I'll add this to my wish list--right under bread machine!

You certainly know how to write a thorough review - you answered any questions I may have had about the grill and even answered questions I never would have thought of, but are important!...Mark

Thanks for the great info, Deb.

I've been thinking about an appliance like this since we are now down to the just the two of us.

Thanks for the acknowledgement on the canola oil. I'm just glad that it might help you and others continue to enjoy the performance of your cookware!

I want one! But I probably have less space in my apartment than you do! I love grilling, and I was afraid I would have to wait until we bought a house (because of storage constraints), but this may work for me. Thanks as always for a great review!

This is one of the best appliance reviews I've read in a long time -- mainly because you compared it to a competitor. After reading my zillionth George Foreman grilling machine review, I thought I was really missing out. Thanks to your review, now I know I wasn't.

You didn't miss much . . . there were few recipes. George is a simple kind of guy. I'll e-mail you a list of recipes from the Meal Maker pamphlet and you can tell me which ones you want. Everything I've tried so far has been great.

I need that recipe booklet for my Foreman grill. We received it as a present from my mother-in-law for Christmas one year and my husband instantly tossed all the paper inside. (Thus explaining why I haven't become Epinion member #300 to review the George Foreman grill.)
