Counting Crows have done it again. The new release Hard Candy is another chapter in the legacy that is the Counting Crows. The first single "American Girls" is a wonderful tale backed by the wonderful vocals of Sheryl Crow. There are many cameos on this masterpiece including Matthew Sweet, the talent who brought us "Girlfriend," and no one can deny that Andre Carter's mute trumpet playing on "Carriage" is the next step from the sweet sound of "Chelsea" from the Storytellers album. Adam Duritz lets loose a barrage of his amazing use of metaphors on Hard Candy as well. This album is a showcase of the progression of Counting Crows. With every album they become a more tight-knit group. Don't let this album pass you by.
