Read a lot of reviews on remotes and ended up trying the Harmony, I am glad I did. This remote programs pretty well once you have spent some time on their web site. I am running 6 devices off this remote and with their "activity based programming" it keeps you out of having to hard code a billion buttons.THIS IN THE NEAT PART OF THIS REMOTE. You see, it has a USB port on the remote, you go to their web tell it what equipment you have and then plug the remote in and with a high speed internet connection, they set your remote up, its that simple. You could use a dial up connection also however with high speed it takes just a minute or two to download updates. Updates you say? Yes that's right, you can also tell their web what tv system you use and they download all the weeks programming into your remote, you now have a TV guide you can access at all times, very nice ! All in all I am very happy and it passed the wife test, she can use it with confidence
