| edgy01's Full Review: Hasselblad 903SWC Film Camera |
The 903SWC is no more. Hasselblad, in the interest of environmental concerns, has taken it and revised its magical optical formula to suit the latest glass types available in the pollution-conscious world. Reportedly, the 905SWC (the latest designation) is not as sharp as the 903SWC, and thus the ultimate irony,--they updated it, but only made it worse!
This is a camera.lens that has virtually no distortion, yet covers a solid 90º on the diagonal. It is sharp from corner to corner, with no light fall off, either.
Recommend you buy the ground glass plate and viewer and simply tripod this and treat it like a view camera.
Find one of the old inventory 903s if you still can,--and grab it!
