to the VH it will ultimately get, could you add a bit more about the sound? Was the bass strong (as one would expect from a closed design)? Do REALLY deep bass notes (organ pedal tones, etc.) come through? Were the mids prominent, laid back, or just right? Were the highs rolled off? Or about right in quantity but still non-shrill? Was the overall transparency medium or really outstanding? Even the best 'phones out there have slightly different characteristics. I'd like to know more about how these sound relative to other good 'phones in their price range. Please drop a me a note when you update.
