Like many others I saw this scanner on the shelf and said Oh I gotta have it. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. If you are looking for a scanner with a minute plus lamp warm up time that takes forever to scan anything over 200 DPI, quirky software, and has compatibility issues with XP Pro than this is for you. To anyone getting device not recognized errors when connecting this scanner, I have 8 USB ports on my computer and my PC only recognizes the scanner on two of them, so try swapping some devices around. Thankfully I got the 2 year Best Buy warranty on this piece of junk so I will be getting it replaced when it is no longer on the shelf.
