Pros: Small Footprint - Excellent Scans originally- Easy Fax
Cons: Paper feed first to give trouble - cheap plastic construction
The Bottom Line: Reasonable cost but mine broke down inside 2 years, buy with extended warranty recommended.

1st- No support for Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger. 2nd- Printer mechanism broke down faster than any other inkjet I've owned. OK for price, but own extended warranty-- mine fouled 13months into ownership! I struggled with issues regarding global reset more than once - I will say HP support was helpful even once out of warranty - though maybe because they wanted to sell me an HP extended warranty 13 months into ownership. (I had purchased at Office Depot with their extended warranty - and collected 18 months later.) Other issues include: promised support for Mac OS Tiger and still did not exist when I returned printer; paper feed would complete feed, but error that there was a paper jam when there wasn't which wore out plastic tabs on the door having to open after just about every print job; print began to streak and cleaning or alignment would not fix 14 months into ownership (only ever used HP cartridges, so 3rd party problems not an issue); too often when copying from flatbed the page would print vertically low with a black band at the top-this would have to be fixed via global reset per HP. On the good side: great fax and page feed mechanism, great scanning (until upgrading OS) so in conclusion, I guess you get what you pay for... if you own extended warranty, this printer could be a bargain, perhaps mine was just a lemon.
