after 4 years it's still "mostly" reliable but time for an upgrade

I've owned this printer going on 4 years now and use it for general purpose office work. My biggest complaint are two: First, the controls are positioned on top of the unit. This means that when I need to fax something, I have get out of my chair and stand over the machine to enter the phone number and such. The other complaint I have is that when sending a fax, the fax starts and the page seems to "inch its way" through the rollers. This wastes time...My other complaint is that every once in a while when I copy a document, I get a strange machine image on the first inch of my page. It's hard to explain...the only fix is to pull the plug and reset the machine. Other than that, it's a reliable printer...
