makarkka's Full Review: Hewlett Packard iPAQ h1935 Pocket PC
I've had my iPAQ 1935 for about 2 months now, and I really like it. It's comfortable to hold, lightweight, and easily fits in my pocket. I bought it to replace a broken Handspring Visor Deluxe, and I'm glad I switched from the Palm OS. This iPAQ is much more powerful a tool than my old Handspring was.
The only drawbacks are really a function of the size of the unit, which was the selling point for me. I kind of wish it had a cover to protect the screen, and I can't seem to find a WiFi SDIO card for a reasonable price anywhere. The CF WiFi cards aren't as expensive, but the 1935 doesn't have a CF slot.
I read some reviews of the iPAQ 1910 that complained about the quality of the color screen, but my 1935 (which I assume has the same screen)looks great. The colors are crisp, and the backlight is bright enough to use it outside on a sunny day, or inside in total darkness.
All in all, I really like this iPAQ. The size/weight was important to me, and the iPAQ is more powerful than I ever expected from a PDA this small, especially for the relatively low price.

UPDATE
**********
Yesterday the screen broke on my iPAQ when I was going through security screening at Midway Airport. TSA said they aren't responsible (even though they broke it), and HP says it's not covered under warranty. They told me I need to be more careful with my stuff. Repairing the screen is going to cost $10 less than I paid for the stupid thing.
In TSA's defense, they did not handle my iPAQ particularly roughly. It dropped about 10 inches onto the carpet covered desk that my bag was on. I didn't have the iPAQ in a case though, so the landing must have been enough to crack the screen.
Now I have to decide if I want to have HP fix this thing, or replace it with something different. I'll probably buy a PDA with a protective case.
